Over £3,000 raised for FareShare Midlands by Heart of England Co-Operative General Manager, Steve Browne, who took a New Year’s Day Dip in the North Sea

Shoppers showed ‘goodwill to all’ this Christmas by funding 500,000 additional meals to feed people at risk of going hungry.

This year the Midlands depots went head to head in a Christmas decorating contest - and Narborough came out on top!

Fulbridge Academy is an award-winning Peterborough primary school with nursery. It is part of a Multi-Academy Trust and supports over 900 children. While the lunch provision is catered for separately, the Academy joined FareShare Midlands in early 2020 to provide food for breakfast and after-school clubs, and food parcels for vulnerable parents.

During the first week of October, FareShare Midlands set out to raise extra funds to help feed vulnerable people across the Midlands - and funded 12,000 meals!
